The 2026 race night was a huge success as over 100 people attended backing their favourite horses and in many cases losing their shirts! The Vice Presidents would like to thank race and horse sponsors for their kind donations and to those who donated almost 70 raffle prizes.
The event raised over £3200 to fund the work of the Vice Presidents in their support of Hull FC.

The vice presidents met this week for their bi-monthly gathering over a meal and the chance to hear from John Asiata and James Bell and for them to give a Q&A.
Before their arrival, the members discussed future fund-raising efforts and ways we can further support Hull FC across all 15 teams within the club.
Following on from sponsoring the York Knights match ball sponsorship, we continued our commitment to supporting the club through sponsoring today’s game.

We are pleased to join forces to gather further support for the campaign to name a road as a permanent and lasting tribute to Johnny Whitely MBE. Letters have been sent by each of our associations and we are encouraging supporters to pledge their support directly to Hull City Council.
Frenchman Hugo is in his second season with club following spells at Catalans, Toulouse, Huddersfield and Wakefield. The second rower has made a number of appearances from the bench for FC and this season wears squad number 26 and has FC heritage number 1216.

Our third player for 2026 is back rower Connor Bailey. The Shaw Cross Sharks junior singed for FC from York Knights having heavily featured during their 2025 league leadership winning campaign. A back rower who has Super League experience from 2020 when he featured for Wakefield Trinity (ironically against FC). Connor has squad number 22 and has been granted heritage number 1228.

Meet our second sponsored player – Joe Ward who has squad number 34. The young winger joined Hull FC from East Leeds and made his competitive 1st team debut in the Challenge Cup against York Acorn in 2025. He holds Hull FC Heritage number 1210. Joe is currently out for the season, but we want to support Joe through his recovery and return to playing.

Wearing squad number 35, our first featured player is Ben Johnson. A former Wyke amateur player who plays centre, Ben is in the first year of his pro-contract and is featuring for the academy and reserve sides this year.
